week of june 12

The film festival was so much fun. I was a part of the screen team and helped setup for the festival. It was a lot of fun to see our films being shown to the school on the big screen. I felt accomplished for being a part of the film program this year.

Week of May 5

This week i finished my job and just sat down minding my own business. I also participated in learning how to set up the screen for the film festival.

week of May 22

We finally finished our second music video. I really liked how it came out and i feel like alot of people are going to enjoy this music video. We have now pitched our idea for a third film and we will start to film soon.

Week of May 15

This week we realized that we were gonna need more time to film more seniors. Our film took longer than we expected to film but we finally gathered enough people to try and finish the rest of our music video. All we would need now is to edit.

Week of May 8

the week of may 8 my production group was able to film parts of our second film which is going to be a music video.  We have also started to think  of ideas for our final film

This week we started to work on our music video and we got all of the props to start filming. We hope to start filming during the long period and finish ASAP.

Week of April 24

During this long stressful never ending week , we finally finished our first narrative film. i thought that our film was pretty good, based on some of the technical difficulties that we had. We are now planning our second video

week of April 17

This week my group was able to finish shooting and now all we have to do is upload and edit our film of that it can finally be finished. We have also already started to ask people if they would like to come out in our next video so we can get started on it soon.

Week of April 10

during this week my group was able to come up with our next idea for our project. We picked a song for a music video and then we started to brainstorm what we were going to tim. we have not yet finished a film but plan to be done with our film by april 20

Week of April 3rd

during this week my production company and i were able to start shooting some of the parts of our narrative. We also were able to input them into a computer and start with our editing.

What we accomplished this week

In the week of March 27th we were able to complete our script for our narrative film. We also started to draw out a small portion of our storyboard.

What Music Means to Me

Music has always been a very big part of me ever since i can remember. My dad has always been a very big fan of  music. I grew up with my dad being a singer and competing in music contests, and would preform in many places. Wherever we went we always would listen to music. From an early age i would never go anywhere without my music. I remember i would carry around a CD player along with some of my CD's. Then i upgraded to an ipod and so on. Hearing music allows me to escape problems that i might be facing in the real world. It relaxes me and soothes me whenever i am feeling really stressed. Some of the music i like to listen to are band like Pierce the Veil, Sleeping with Sirens, The Smiths, Coldplay, The killers , Of Monsters and Men and many other different artists and different music genres.

Problems and Struggles

Some of the major problems that a I have noticed that some Bell High kids go through is the struggle to communicate with their parents as well as one another. Some Bell High students have always struggled to find their voice and speak to someone or say something they want to say. Many of the problems with kids could deal with the social hierarchy of their school. For instance some students may feel secluded from everyone else because they may be into different things or not be accepted as a popular person. Although this may not seem like a big struggle, many students take what goes on in school and within their friends to heart and can cause damage. Another struggle Bell high students have is that they do not communicate with their parents. They feel like they will be judged or that they will not be understood, so they don't confide in their parents and keep all their problems bottled up inside.

The most Interesting person

The most interesting person that i have met is one of my close friends that i have known since kindergarten. I think she is the most interesting person that I have met because she has had the privilege to travel to many sites that i would like to visit. An example of this would be that she has gone to yellowstone national park and to yosemite national park. I find her interesting because I myself love to be outdoors in nature and explore many of these places. I also find her interesting because she has had to go through some tough struggles in her life, but still today she stands tall with as much pride than ever. I find her interesting, and also admire her at the same time.

My Anti Drug

My Anti-Drug has always been hearing music and reading books. Whenever I feel stressed out or having a hard time with social problems or any kind of problem I like to put on my earphones and just listen to music or I pick up a book that I like or i find interesting to read and try to blank everyone out. When i am reading a book or hearing music it allows me to escape from reality and just enjoy myself and relax. I get to have a little break and peace of mind. Not everyone enjoys reading , but when i am reading i feel as if I myself become a character in the book and it makes me enjoy they story even more. Music soothes me and calms me down whenever i am nervous, stressed or anxious.

What I learned from an Inconvenient Truth

What i learned from an Inconvenient Truth is that climate change is becoming an even bigger problem than before. I learned that with all the different changes in our climate our polar caps are being greatly affected. We may not even have polar caps in a couple of years.One thing that really interested me and caught my attention was when Al Gore mentioned that if the north pole were to melt, or part of the north pole and greenland melt then the sea level would increase by 20ft. If the sea level would increase by 20 ft than many continents would experience severe flooding. Some including San Francisco and New York city. Not only will it destroy homes and properties, but it would leave many survivors searching for places to stay.
